Welcome to Cheeky Moto!

Hello there! I’m Richard Humphries I’m a Malaysia based motorcycle racing and motorcycle culture photographer. I arrived here many years ago via England, Indonesia, Thailand, and South Africa. I am also the creator of Cheeky Moto. Why Cheeky Moto? Well, because I’m cheeky and I love motorbikes. Combine those two things with my background in journalistic photography, pass it through the prism of my genius…and hey presto! Cheeky Moto!

I love everything about the motorcycle. Their sound, their smell, and their aesthetic. I love the community around them, and the deep connections and camaraderie that they inspire. They are also the best way to travel by far. Most of all though, I love how I feel when I’m riding one, and how that makes me feel about myself (IYKYK!). When I”m not shooting bikes or out riding them I’m spending time at home with my wife and our 11 adopted cats.

Moving forward into 2025 I will be shooting as much authentic motorcycle content and stories as I possibly can. Motorcycle racing and motorcycle culture related work will feature heavily here at Cheeky Moto. I recently read that in 2025 authenticity will be the new brand strategy. If that is so then my hope for you is this. If you take one thing away from your visit here today it’s just that…authenticity. 2025 is going to be a huge year for us here at Cheeky Moto and we hope you will come along for the ride!
